King size brick (9 5/8" x 2 5/8" x 2 13/16") produces fewer mortar joints per square foot than Modular (7 5/8" x 2 1/4" x 3 5/8"), giving a cleaner, more contemporary look. King size bricks are also slightly more economical to lay per square foot due to reduced joint count. See our Dimensional Guide for all format comparisons.
